Below are some terms you will encounter and their definitions

Always take the time to read theTearm of Service and the FAQs (frequently asked questions). This will help you understand the specifics of each different site.

Upgrades: Most sites require you to purchase upgrades in units of $4, $5, $6, $8, or $10 each. Pretty much all sites also have a maximum upgrade level. Your member upgrade level is separate from your account balance, and usually, you cannot withdraw directly from your member level, but will be paid when your account balance reaches a certain amount.

Earnings: The daily earning percentages and duration of upgrades are different for the different programs. Lower daily rates (1%) are more realistic and thus safer "investments", but keep in mind that it will take at least 100 days (not considering referral commission) to earn back your initial investment. Faster sites like 12DP (12 Daily Pro) will get you your initial investment + profit in only about 19 days, but because of the high return, there is greater risk that the program will eventually be unable to pay its members.

Compounding: Compounding is allowed on some sites with various restrictions. Compounding basically means that you're taking money from your account balance and putting it directly into your member level, thus saving the time and fees that it would take to cashout/withdraw and then upgrade again. With the high rate of returns, compounding can turn your $100 into $10,000 in a matter of months.

Cashouts: Each site has its own minimum cashout and associated rules, such as cashouts every week or every month. 12DP members don't even have to think about cashouts, as they are done automatically at the end of each upgrade. Note that some sites require you to request a cashout manually in order to get paid. Others have automatic cashouts if you qualify by having the minimum account balance, but you need to make sure your payment details are accurate by going to account info and checking your payment processor.

NEVER spend more than you are willing to loose! Always strive to get you initial investment back. Then you can re-invest your new earnings and increase you upgrade level and also earnings.

HOW DO I PAY OR RECIEVE PAYMENT?

You can fund your memberships using credit cards but to recieve payment you will need an online payment processor. The 2 most widely used are:

PayPal
You can fund your account or make payments with a credit card or wire transfer from a bank account for free. I’m currently using bank account transfers from my checking account. If you sign up for the PayPal Money Market, you can get extra money from that if you have money sitting in your account. Right now it’s over 3% annual yield. New and "surfer friendly"

StormPay
This one charges fees for everything, but when a program doesn’t accept PayPal, this is the next best thing. Things to keep in mind: adding funds to your account will incur a 3% fee. Receiving money (like when you withdraw/cashout from an autosurf) has a fee of 6.9% + $0.69, so basically, don’t go around receiving $1 payments—most of it will end up going to fees.

So far, I’ve only talked about paying with credit card or bank account wire transfer. You might ask, “What if I don’t want to risk those things on the Internet?” With StormPay, you can get money into your account without a credit card or bank account. The answer is StormClix. Basically, you get paid to view websites, with the typical rate being $0.01 per site. Granted, it is slow, especially when there’s usually no more than $1.00 worth per day, but it’s free money. You could just keep clicking StormClix ads until you accumulate enough to upgrade in an autosurf. You’ll find StormClix in the menu on the left after logging into your StormPay account.

StormClix is how I started with nothing and in just 4 months have collected $100 in payouts and have over $500 (as of this writing - 1/21/06) in membership levels of which I am earning from. StormPay

FINAL TIPS

Before starting, you might want to download the Firefox web browser. It makes surfing multiple sites at a time very easy using tabbed browsing.

Firefox Setup. Surfing Tip — it’s one of the reasons why Firefox is better than IE for surfing. Go to Tools-Options-Web Features. Click the Advanced button next to Enable JavaScript. Uncheck all the boxes except for Change images. Most autosurfs will maximize and bring to front your browser window at every site rotation. Turning off those options in Firefox will keep the Firefox window whatever size you make it and won’t steal focus from other windows. You will also want the pop-up blocker enabled (Tools-Options-Web Features-Block Popup Windows).
